
Is elbow or wrist pain hindering you at work?
Elbow and wrist pain is a common presentation at Bodywell. Elbow and wrist pain is often caused by repetitive movements such as lifting a child, using a computer/ mouse at work or use of a tool such as a hammer.
Common conditions of the wrist and elbow are:
- Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis)
- Golfer’s elbow (medial epicondylitis)
- Arthritis pain and joint stiffness
- Carpal tunnel
- DeQuervain’s tendinosis
Our practitioners will examine both the painful area and also related areas. Neck, ribs and shoulder restrictions are often related with wrist and elbow pain. They will then formulate an individualised treatment plan that will involve manual therapy techniques and exercise rehabilitation to help you improve the function and reduce the pain in your wrist and elbow.
