Are you experiencing shoulder pain and limited movement?
Shoulder aches and pains are something we commonly see at Bodywell. The shoulder joint has a complex anatomy structure where it has been likened to a golf ball on a tee. The shoulder joint has the greatest range of motion, but has the least stability, therefore making it susceptible to injury.
Common shoulder conditions include:
- Rotator cuff and biceps tendinopathy
- Subacromial impingement
- Labral tears
- Subacromial bursitis
- Arthritis pain, joint stiffness and swelling
- Joint and ligament sprains
- Frozen shoulder
- Posture related shoulder pain
Your practitioner will do an examination considering the shoulder and all of its related areas such as the neck, upper back and elbow. Your practitioner will then create a personalised treatment plan for you involving manual therapy techniques and exercise rehabilitation.
How can we help?
Bodywell’s Dr Aleasha Ball, Dr Sarah Collins and Dr Rebecca Fear have a special interest in shoulder pain and injuries, and you can book online below or give us a call.
